Ladies Lunch Recap
We could have done a better job with internal communication. We had a difficult time in the kitchen with plating the food. Next time we need to get a better head count for the women. A lot of them didn’t show up (25 or so). This meant we had a lot of food left over. Maybe we could make the guys more accountable for ensuring the women show up if they say they will. We didn’t make enough money to cover our costs. We won’t have the exact numbers until next month.
Small Groups
Rick would appreciate it if we made an effort to communicate to him about our groups. He wants to know how they are going. Hollis won’t be able to lead a group for awhile. We’ll need to find someone to take his guys. Barry in on hiatus until after his marriage class is over .Lonnie will start up real soon. Rick is meeting twice a month with 2 different celebration houses. Henry will not be able to lead a group for now. Richard Cardona will be starting a group in South Austin to take Joe’s south Austin guys. We need to get Joe some North Austin guys. We’re still looking for someone to take Henry’s guys.
Men’s Retreat
Scott will be forming some committees for the men’s retreat. These committees should consist of council members and non-council members. The first committee should agree on a theme and an outline or schedule of events.
Breakfast
We had 31 guys at the last breakfast. This was a big improvement from the last breakfast we had. At the next breakfast, Barry will bring his laptop in order to get an update of the men’s email’s and phone numbers.
