What do the men of Cornerstone need

Scott - Accountability

Barry - Read the word more and meditating on the scriptures you read. Also less distractions from God,

Louis - Spiritual training, men willing to open up to each other, men willing to tear down the walls and remove the masks

Hollis - The men need vision. They need small group meetings. Occasionally, they will need to meet in a big group setting, but that shouldn't be the main thing.

Lonnie - The men need to know they can trust each other. They need to know they can be open. We need more transparency with one another. We need to foster relationship building.

Willie - We need to unmask the phoniness (the facade). We have too many lone rangers. We could use a lot more honesty with each other

Joe - We need to build relationships. We need transparency.

Rick - We need to deal with our bad habits like alcohol addiction and pornography.

Rick summarized these comments by stating that one thing everyone has said, is that we need integrity in the men. Our focus should be in becoming men of integrity. To get there, we need to first focus on prayer. We also need to model this. The people reflect the leadership. If we don't model the issues to each other, those we lead will never catch on.

action items

Pray that God would make these changes in the men’s council first. That he would change us. That we would become men of integrity.
